who we are:
two wordsmiths hammering away at flash fiction in Asheville, North Carolina. for now, we'll post a story every friday--flash friday.
who we publish:
you. if you're good enough. we like Asheville writers, Western North Carolina writers, and, then, those from the greater universe. hey, it’s our blog.
what we don't like:
- political or religious proselytizing
- porn (well we do, but just not here)
- typos (don’t trust your spell check—proofread)
- dumb grammatical errors
- submit your 1000 word or shorter fiction piece to flashus@flasheville.com. include your work in the body of the e-mail with a word count and a short (one or two sentences) biography of yourself, with a link to your website or blog if you have one. failure to follow guidelines will result in public flogging.
- we will e-mail you if and when we publish your piece. all fiction is open to comments from the public. if you can’t take the heat, stay out of Flasheville.
- we’ll be running occasional contests and the like, once we get our shit together.
- all writing on this site is copyrighted and belongs to the individual author.
